HOW TO REACH US
Just beyond the hotel "Molino d'Era" turn right onto the "Via Volterrana" and note the
roadside kilometre signs (which will appear in descending order - beginning with Km 9) .
Follow this winding road uphill towards Volterra and just beyond the "KID 3" sign (a
distance of about 3.5 miles from Molino d'Era) turn into a road filtering downhill to the
left.
At the top of this road you will see a brown and white sign (not immediately visible
from the main "Via Volterrana" road) pointing to "Filettro". This road leads down
through several hair-pin bends, past a row of terraced houses, and brings you to your
destination.
Arriving from the direction of Colle Val d'Elsa follow the signs for Pisa and Pontedera
PAST the city of Volterra - this road skirts halfway around the city walls (which are on
your right). As it leaves the city walls behind it, this road (it is now the "Via Volterrana") descends for about 3.5 miles towards Pisa and Pontedera. Just after you have negotiated a
severe hair-pin bend, look for a road leading to the right.
At the top of this road you will see a brown and white sign pointing to "Filettro". Take
the VERY sharp right hand hairpin bend into this road, which leads downhill. round
several more hair-pin bends, past a row of terraced houses and brings you to your
destination.
