Silvia and Luigi, the owners of agriturismo Podere Filettro have been in residence since 1989.

Creating their "idyll" in the clean air of the Tuscan countryside has given them immense satisfaction. "Even the hard work was enjoyable", they admit with a wry smile.

With the changing seasons, their land provides them with fruit and vegetables and wonderful olive oil. Silvia, very knowledgeable in nurturing nature, also seeks out such delights as wild asparagus, rucola and many of the wild herbs that grow freely in the area.

The family which includes two German Schnauzer dogs and two cats, has recently grown with the arrival of a daughter Sofia.
